We're long time residents of California's Central Coast. Specifically, we've both lived, worked and played in Santa Maria, California since the dawn of time. Ann has lived in Santa Maria since the age of 3. Jim has lived here since meeting and marrying Ann. We're not going to spill the beans and tell you exactly how old we are but here's a hint: we've seen the area grow quite a bit over the last few decades. We still believe the Central Coast is one of the most beautiful and unique areas of the world. It's so special that we'd like to share our little corner of the globe with you.

Geographically, the Central Coast reaches from Oxnard and Ventura in the south all the way to Monterey Bay in the north. Since we have family in the Oxnard area, we spend a lot of time there but we also love the Monterey/Big Sur area and visit frequently.

The reason for our motto: "nothing but the good stuff" is simple. We report on nothing but the good stuff. You're busy, we're busy. No time for negatives. If we like it, we share it. It's that simple.

We don't get paid for our reviews or editorial content (although we're not above accepting a free bottle of wine or dinner from time to time). We DO get paid from the advertising links on our website. If you click an ad, we'll get a penny or two. It's not much but every penny helps and someday those pennies may even be enough to pay the monthly fee for our web server. WooHoo! So, if you like our site, please visit our advertisers.
